Channel Summary

When you have one or more channels configured and live in Konnect, you can view a consolidated Channel Summary to monitor performance, product statuses, inventory, and more at a glance. The Channel Summary provides key insights into how your channel is performing—from revenue and orders to product mapping statuses. Sellers can use this page to quickly assess trends and take timely actions (e.g., updating inactive products or addressing failed price updates).

Why You Might Need Channel Summary

  • Track Channel Performance: Monitoring performance is crucial for any seller. With Channel Summaries, you can easily understand monthly changes in revenue and orders. This insight helps you quickly identify trends, enabling you to adjust your strategies and optimize operations for better sales.
  • Health Check & Failed Updates: The Channel Summary allows you to spot any anomalies, such as a high number of failed inventory or price syncs—which might indicate API errors or credential issues—and an increasing number of failed orders. Monitoring these issues early helps you take corrective action.
  • Catalog Overview & Product Catalog Stats: A comprehensive Catalog Summary shows the status of your products on the channel. You can quickly see how many products are actively listed, which ones are inactive, and how many remain unmapped. A high count of unmapped products may signal the need to map items to broaden your market reach, ensuring no sales opportunities are missed.
  • Operational Insights: The Channel Summary consolidates critical data on inventory updates, pricing syncs, order processing, and return metrics. Having all this information in one place streamlines your decision-making process, helps you quickly address any issues, and maintains a high level of operational efficiency.
  • Order and Return Figures: Assess detailed metrics on order and return figures to identify any unusual spikes in cancellations or failed operations, providing an additional layer of insight into channel health.
