Unified Products Panel Overview
Konnect’s Unified Products Panel is your go-to interface for centralizing and managing all product-related operations. It connects seamlessly with your Fynd Commerce account to keep product data (like names, identifiers, statuses, pricing, etc.) in sync across multiple channels. With this panel, you can:
Map Products (via Channel Mapping): Effortlessly assign your Fynd Commerce seller identifiers to the corresponding external channel codes to ensure accurate product listings.
Check Inventory Summaries: Quickly review a consolidated view of your current inventory levels across channels, helping you stay informed about stock availability and performance.
Access Inventory Snapshots: Examine historical records of inventory flows, including updates sent to channels, API calls, and discrepancies—vital for audits and troubleshooting.
Reconcile Inventory: Compare and synchronize your sellable inventory in Fynd Commerce with the inventory reported by each channel, reducing the risk of overselling or underselling.
Before diving into product mapping, ensure your channels are configured and onboarded in Konnect, and that you’ve set up locations in Fynd Commerce. This way, any product mapping or inventory updates flow smoothly.
Channel Mapping
Now that you have channels configured and your locations are ready, the next major step is to map your product catalog to each channel’s identifiers. The Channel Mapping panel ensures accurate synchronization between your Fynd Commerce Seller Identifiers or GTINs (SKU, EAN, ALU, UPC, or ISBN) and the codes recognized by external marketplaces, webstores, ERP, or POS systems.

Why Channel Mapping Matters?
Different channels (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, Unicommerce, Ginesys, custom ERP, etc.) often require their own product codes. By mapping your Fynd Commerce seller identifiers to each channel’s codes, you:
- Map Product Identifiers: Map SKUs uploaded on your Fynd Seller Portal with the SKUs for which Fynd receives inventory from your ERP or WMS solution.
- Customize Buffer Stock: Set buffer stock to add a product-level buffer, which will override any location- or account-level buffer settings if configured.
- Bulk Mapping: Streamline the process of updating product-channel mappings in bulk, ensuring consistent and efficient management of your product catalog across all channels.
- Product Auto-Map: Benefit from Konnect’s Auto Mapping feature on supported channels, which automatically matches products to reduce manual effort.
- Ensure Inventory Accuracy: Proper mapping is crucial for correct inventory deductions and real-time stock updates.
- Control Product Statuses: Decide if a product is Active or Inactive on specific channels or accounts.

Understand Channel Mapping
Default Columns

Note: All data in the columns below is sourced directly from Fynd Commerce.
Product Name: The name of the product as it appears in Fynd Commerce alongside the product media.
Seller Identifier: This can be SKU, EAN, ALU, UPC, or ISBN as added in Fynd Commerce.
- SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) – Often used internally to track product variants.
- EAN (European Article Number) – 13-digit format common worldwide.
- ALU (Alternative Lookup) – Sometimes used in POS or custom systems.
- UPC (Universal Product Code) – 12-digit code used predominantly in North America.
- ISBN (International Standard Book Number) – Typically for books (10 or 13 digits).
Size: If the product has multiple size variants, each variant is represented in its own row.
Item Code: A unique code for the product to track and manage inventory on Fynd Commerce.
Status: Reflects the product’s active/inactive state at the company level as set in Fynd Commerce.

Channel-Specific Columns

After selecting Channel Type/Channels/Accounts via the Column Selector, new columns appear for each channel-account combination. These include:
- Channel Identifier: The code used to map a specific product to the seller on that channel.
Note: The Channel Identifier field is provided as an example; the required label may vary by channel.
Buffer Stock: A quantity held back from the channel’s visible inventory to prevent overselling.
- Example: If the buffer is 10 and the actual stock is 50, only 40 is published to that channel.
Channel Status: A toggle to set the product as Active or Inactive on a specific channel-account.
Drag column headers horizontally by long-pressing them. This lets you rearrange frequently updated fields (such as Buffer Stock or an entire channel-account column) to keep them front and center.
Editing Channel Mappings
Each row features an Action button in the far-right column that lets you edit the row. You can modify editable fields such as:
Channel Identifier
- Assign or update the product code used on that channel.
- This code must match what you have configured (or plan to configure) on the channel itself (e.g., your AJIO Commerce Seller Central account).
Buffer Stock
- Enter a number (e.g., 5, 10) to reserve a portion of your inventory.
- For example: If your real-time stock is 20 and the buffer is 5, Konnect will publish “15” to that channel.
- Set to "0" if you want to send all your inventory without any buffer.
Channel Status
- Toggle on to push inventory and enable sales, or toggle off to pause inventory updates and hide the product on that channel-account.

Deactivating a product on a key channel could lead to missing inventory updates. Ensure you intentionally switch to Inactive only if you truly want to remove or pause selling that item on that account.
Exporting Channel Mapping Data
To export your current Channel Mapping setup as a .csv
or .xlsx
file:
Filter & Select Columns: Narrow down your view (e.g., show only “Amazon-Mumbai,” “Flipkart-Kolkata,” or “Unicommerce-WH-01” accounts) and decide which columns (Seller Identifier, Channel Identifier, Buffer Stock, etc.) are necessary.
Look for an Export Data option in the Kebab (⋮) menu.

File Generation: Konnect will begin preparing your export. You will receive a notification confirming that the export file is being generated.
Export History:
- Check Export History to see if the export is Pending, Success, or Failed.
- Use filters such as date, user, or file name to locate the export.
- Download the successful file for offline review.

Note: The exported file reflects only the filters and column selections currently active in your view. Always verify your table settings before exporting.
