Auto-Map
Auto Mapping in Fynd Konnect allows you to automatically map your catalog from Fynd Commerce to the appropriate channel-specific identifiers. This feature minimizes manual input, ensuring that if your SKUs already align with a channel’s coding system, they can be matched quickly without extensive hands-on adjustments. Auto Mapping is designed for scenarios where you have a large catalog and want to streamline the product linking process.
Benefits
- Efficiency: Automates the process of mapping product identifiers to channels.
- Consistency: Ensures uniform matching of products according to pre-defined rules.
Once products are auto-mapped, the channel identifier for products live on that specific account cannot be manually edited. However, you can still modify the buffer stock and status settings as needed.
Initiating Auto-Mapping
Note: Auto mapping is available only for channels that support this feature; refer to the channel-specific Konnect documentation for more details.
- Navigate to Auto Mapping: On your Konnect Seller Panel, go to Products → Channel Mapping. From the Kebab (⋮) menu, select Auto-Map Products.

- Select Channel & Account: Choose the specific Channel and the associated Account where you want to perform the auto mapping. This selection instructs Konnect to use the rules and identifiers for that particular channel-account combination.

- Verify Auto Mapping Availability: Before initiating the process, ensure that no other auto mapping job is currently in progress for that account. If an auto mapping job is active or already completed for that channel-account, you will be notified to try again later.

Handling Errors & Conflicts
Error Handling:
If an error occurs (for example, due to incompatible identifiers or if an auto mapping job is already running), Konnect displays an error message. Review the details, adjust your settings if necessary, and then retry the process.Partial Matches:
Sometimes, not all products are mapped correctly. Konnect may map only a subset of products while flagging others as unmapped. You can review these details in the Auto-Map History.

Auto Map History
Keeping track of past auto mapping operations is essential for monitoring performance and troubleshooting. In the Auto Map History section (accessible via the Channel Mapping Kebab (⋮) menu), you will see a table listing details about each auto mapping:
- Channel & Account: Indicates which channel and account were targeted.
- Products Mapped: Displays the total products scanned and mapped (e.g., 150/200 mapped).
- Triggered By: The user who initiated the auto mapping.
- Start and End Timestamp: The times when the auto mapping process began and ended.
- Status: Indicates whether the auto mapping was a Success, Failed, Partial Success, or In-Progress. For Partial Success or Failed jobs, hover over the status to gain further insights.

Additional Actions
Retry Auto-Mapping: For auto mapping processes marked as Partial Success or Failed, you have the option to retry the auto mapping process.
Download Processed File: For processes with a Success or Partial Success status, you can download a file that includes details on each product processed. This file typically contains:
- Channel Product Name
- Channel Identifier
- Product Name
- Seller Identifier
- Mapping Status (either Mapped or Unmapped)

- Detailed Auto-Map Report: View detailed information about products automatically mapped for the selected channel and account. This report includes timestamps, status, and the number of products successfully mapped versus the total in the source file. You can search for a product's channel identifier or status, filter products by their mapping status, and download the processed file for further review.

Use the downloaded processed file for in-depth analysis or to manually adjust the status and buffer quantity of any unmapped products. This file serves as a complete audit trail of what was auto-mapped.
