Inventory Flow between Fynd & the Brand

Before debugging inventory issues between the Seller system and the Fynd Platform, first verify that the inventory for the particular SKU and store has been pushed from the Seller’s POS or ERP system and is being correctly consumed by Fynd Platform.

If there is a mismatch in inventory between the Seller system and Fynd Platform:

If the inventory matches, proceed as follows:


Catalog Creation

  1. Login to Fynd Platform: Navigate to platform.fynd.com.

  2. Enter the SKU or Seller Identifier in the search box to check if the SKU is cataloged.

  3. If the SKU is cataloged, it will appear in the search results.

  4. If not, the product needs to be cataloged on Fynd. Refer to the tutorial on Cataloging products on Fynd Platform.


Inventory Consumption at Fynd

This section verifies if the inventory consumed by Fynd against the cataloged SKU matches the raw inventory in the Seller system.

  1. Click on the dropdown and select Edit Inventory.

  2. Check Store Code: Use the search box to enter the specific store code.

  3. Verify 'Sellable Quantity': Confirm that the ‘Sellable Quantity’ field (indicating the quantity consumed by Fynd) matches the raw inventory at the Seller’s side.

  4. Mismatch Handling: If there is a discrepancy, contact Fynd Platform support to investigate the issue.


Marketplace Catalog Mapping

  1. Access AJIO VMS: To check marketplace mappings, click on AJIO VMS under Sales Channels.

  2. Click on Products.

  3. Enter the SKU or Seller Identifier in the search box.

  4. If the AJIO SKU is added and the status is active, the mapping is complete.

If the AJIO SKU indicates that the mapping is incomplete (e.g., status is inactive), then it needs to be uploaded and mapped. An inactive status signifies that the inventory push is incomplete.


Inventory Push

This section explains how to verify the inventory push from AJIO to Fynd.

  1. Click on Manual Sync on the AJIO home page.

  2. Click on Trace Product.

  3. Enter the SKU or Seller Identifier in the search box and click on Get Logs.

  4. In the log file, verify that the SKU x Store quantity matches the data on Fynd.

  5. If the quantities match, it confirms that the inventory has been successfully pushed from Fynd. Next, check the AJIO Seller Central for further verification.


AJIO Inventory Status

  1. Login to AJIO Seller Central: Navigate to AJIO Seller Central and go to Inventory.

  2. Select Downloads, choose the relevant brands from the dropdown, and click Download Inventory Excel File.

  3. Download the File: Click on the Download icon.

  4. Check the downloaded file to confirm the quantity matches the pushed inventory.

Tip

If the inventory appears on AJIO Seller Central, it indicates that the inventory has been successfully pushed from Fynd. If not, there may be a catalog issue. Contact your marketplace POC for further assistance.

If the inventory is missing for a particular store, verify the store mapping between AJIO and Fynd.
